Job title: SEN Teaching Assistant

* Location: Stanstead Abbotts, Heartfordshire

* Contract: Permanent Full-time o 34 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time (43.6 weeks per annum)

* Salary: £25,583.00 Annually (FTE) H3.1 (approx, £19,650 pro rata)

The school cater for children and young people aged 2 to 19 with Profound and Multiple
Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

About the Role:

* Support pupils and students aged 2 to 19 with severe learning difficulties, tailoring assistance to their unique needs

* Work under the guidance of Class Teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons

* Participate in swimming sessions with pupils at least once a week

* Foster strong relationships with parents, families, and the local community to support pupil and student development

What We're Looking For:

* GCSEs English and Math’s Grade C/Grade 5 and above

* High standard of written and oral communication

* Experience of working in a similar setting/ position

* Understand strategies to support vulnerable children
