Job Purpose
To provide timely, competent and responsive support to the business in the following key areas to ensure the
Company’s objectives are achieved;
* To manage the Company’s ISO certifications & application (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
* To ensure the Business is kept up to date with latest EH&S legislation & promote good Health & Safety awareness within the Company
* Subcontractor Health and Safety/Quality Compliance
* Proactive and effective maintenance and regulatory compliance of Building Services at the company’s offices
* Arranging Training/Meter calibration & ensuring records are maintained.
* The timely provision of information to ensure compliance with customers Pre-qualification and approval
Job Description
* Ensure ISO standards are maintained (ISO9001, 14001, 45001) with minimal non-conformances
* Ensure the company is compliant with new legislation and changes to existing legislation.
* Responsible for facilities management to ensure all building related regulations are being adhered to
* Monitor and report on Employees’ training progression
* The timely provision of information to ensure compliance with customers Pre-qualification and approval
processes
* IT and Phone system support to staff where this cannot be provided remotely
* Carry out inductions for new starters and complete setup of training modules, DSE Assessments and any other on-boarding requirements
* Responsible for preparation and presentation of the Health and Safety Committee Meeting
* Creating/distributing RAMS and issuing safety bulletins as required.
* Investigating all accidents, incidents and near misses including liaising with clients and/or external authorities as necessary
* Develop and maintain an Audit Plan and carry out Internal Audits
* Monitor Contractor Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance
* Maintaining a record of items being recycled (as required by ISO14001).
* Managing Insurance renewals, ensuring sufficient cover is maintained at all times.
* Maintaining certifications and affiliations as required by the company to meet client/bidding requirements.
Expereince
* 5 year’s experience of managing Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Management systems
* 5 years’ experience in premises management (Maintenance to required service standards and intervals)
* A minimum 2 years Internal Audit experience
* NEBOSH Certificate
