Nightshift Warehouse Operative – Birtley ?
Our client based in Birtley is looking for a Nightshift Warehouse Operative to join their busy team on an ongoing temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right person.
? Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 3:00am – 11:00am
(Please note: due to the early start time, applicants must have their own transport as public transport is not available at that time.)
? Pay Rates:
*
£12.21 per hour standard rate
*
£16.24 per hour overtime rate (paid after the first 8 hours worked per shift)
*
Holiday pay is accrued weekly and not included in the hourly rate
? Job Duties Include:
*
Picking orders of stationery items
*
Loading items onto vans for next-day deliveries
*
General warehouse duties
*
Manual handling – some lifting involved
✅ Requirements:

Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential
*
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
*
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
*
Own transport essential due to early shift times
