Big Fish Little fish are proud to be partnering with an exceptional charity in order to recruit them an outstanding fundraiser to join the team. Our client who supports vulnerable young women, adults and families are doing a fantastic job locally within South Yorkshire, but with a little bit of help, and an additional member of the team who will be tasked with fund raising, then things could be even better.
This role is totally new for our charity partner, and up to now they have relied on their own staff, donations and other avenues, but the CEO has decided to appoint someone to be tasked with being the fund raiser and being the person to put them on the map more locally.
The successful candidate will be expected to meet the following expectations;
Be able to attend numerous networking event, talk to key decision makers at these events.
Come up with idea to fund raise, which will be innovative, different, possess a twist and primarily get people talking about the success.
Meet with local businesses, tell them the story, the journey of the charity,as everyone will be able to identify with someone who needed the help and support.
Motivate others within the team to get onboard with new ideas.
Speak to local PR and marketing companies about getting profile out and news about the charity.
Negotiate excellent PR channels, and opportunity to be the voice of the charity.
Get to know its users and what they stand for.
To achieve the above the successful candidate must possess excellent administration skills, strong organistional skills, be able to keep on top of meetings, be able to document and produce reports relevant to plans and meetings.

The role is hybrid allowing the candidate to utilise where they need to be and ensure all 3 locations are visited regularly.
