Major Recruitment are recruiting an Assistant Credit Controller for a well-established manufacturer based in New Mills. This is a permanent role from day one, ideal for someone looking to build or continue a career in credit control and finance.
Duties include:
Assisting with the management and collection of outstanding customer balances
Reviewing aged debt and chasing payments
Allocating payments to the sales ledger
Carrying out new customer credit checks and due diligence
Setting up and maintaining credit terms
Raising and monitoring credit notes
Supporting month-end processes and reporting
Providing general office support when required
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Hours:
Monday -Thursday : 8:30am-4:30pm
Friday: 9:00am-4:30pm

Has strong attention to detail
Works well as part of a team
Has good computer skills
Communicates confidently and professionally
Is organised, self-motivated, and able to multitask
Office or finance experience desirable but not essential
