The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified ACA/ACCA Audit and Accounts Senior to join a forward-thinking accountancy firm in Tamworth. Role Responsibilities
You will support managers and partners in delivering high-quality audit and accounts services to a portfolio of Owner Managed Businesses.
Key duties include:
* Planning and delivering audit assignments, identifying key risks, testing approaches, and reviewing budgets
* Leading smaller audits, supervising and reviewing work of junior staff
* Completing analytical reviews and interpreting results
* Preparing year-end accounts for a variety of clients across multiple sectors
* Developing in-depth client knowledge and delivering insights with commercial awareness
* Managing assignment budgets and ensuring chargeability targets are met
* Staying informed on sector trends and changes in regulations
About You
Essential:
* ACA or ACCA part-qualified
* Prior experience in audit and accounts within a UK practice environment (4years ideally)
* Confident in planning audits and preparing financial statements
* Experience supervising and reviewing work of junior colleagues
* Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills
