Laboratory Technician – Reading - Up to £19.81/hr - Inside IR35

What You Will Do:
Provide hands-on assistance in laboratory operations, ensuring the smooth running of daily activities.
Administer samples for scientific analysis, including creating records, assigning tests, and maintaining chain-of-custody for controlled samples.
Perform routine pharmacopoeial analysis and operate basic laboratory equipment under supervision.
Use laboratory software systems, including LIMS and Q-Pulse, to input results and manage data effectively.
Conduct experiments, support assigned projects, and contribute to technical reports under guidance.
Assist with laboratory housekeeping, routine equipment checks, and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
What You Will Bring:
A scientific background gained through education or technical apprenticeship.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Proficiency in using relevant software applications and a willingness to learn new systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
A proactive, adaptable, and hardworking attitude, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
