Salary: £153 - £211 per day (dependent on experience and pay scale)

Are you a passionate and energetic PE Teacher looking for your next challenge? Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a high-achieving secondary school in Macclesfield in their search for a dedicated PE specialist to join their team as soon as possible.

The Role:

Teaching PE to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils across a range of sports and activities

Planning and delivering high-quality practical and theoretical PE lessons

Supporting extra-curricular sport, including lunchtime and after-school clubs

Encouraging participation, teamwork, and resilience among students

Working closely with the wider PE department and pastoral staff to support pupil progress and well-being

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

A degree in Physical Education or a related subject

Recent experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school setting

A genuine enthusiasm for sport and physical development

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)

Two professional references from recent teaching roles
