An innovative and inclusive secondary school in East London is seeking a Food Technician & Learning Support Assistant to play a pivotal role across the Food Technology department and classroom support network. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day and thrives on making a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

As Food Technician:

* Support the delivery of high-quality food technology lessons

* Ensure practical sessions are well-resourced, organised, and safe

* Maintain kitchen equipment and ingredients stock levels

* Provide hands-on demonstration support where appropriate

As Learning Support Assistant:

* Work closely with teaching staff to provide in-class support for students with additional learning needs

* Deliver tailored one-to-one and small group interventions

* Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment for all students

* Monitor and encourage student progress both academically and socially

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

* Has experience working in a food technology or catering environment (school-based or otherwise)

* Understands the importance of food hygiene and safety procedures

* Is patient, nurturing, and passionate about student development

* Can manage time effectively and multitask in a school setting

* Brings energy, initiative, and a collaborative spirit to the role
