Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Mission Critical Consultancy

Hybrid - Gatwick HQ

We're hiring experienced Mechanical Engineers to join a leading consultancy delivering cutting-edge data centre solutions.

You'll take ownership of mechanical systems from concept to commissioning, producing robust designs and specifications for high-performance environments.

Key responsibilities:

Lead mechanical design across chilled water, LTHW, DX, and condensate systems

Specify AHUs, chillers, dry coolers, and other HVAC plant

Design pressure venting, gas extract, and general ventilation systems

Deliver consultancy across feasibility, strategic planning, traditional MEP design, commissioning and compliance

What we're looking for:

Strong background in mechanical building services

Proven experience in critical environments (data centres preferred)

Detail-focused, driven, and capable of delivering end-to-end projects

An excellent opportunity to work on large-scale, technically complex projects in one of the most fast-evolving sectors
