We're currently partnering with a well-established and growing business in the print and packaging sector that is looking to appoint a Bid Manager to take full ownership of their end-to-end bidding process.

The ideal candidate will be a strong bid writer with excellent project management skills, capable of coordinating multiple stakeholders and bringing together complex technical and commercial information into compelling bid responses.
The Role
This position will suit someone who is confident working across departments, thrives under pressure, and is comfortable managing the full bid lifecycle from identifying opportunities right through to submission and post-bid review. You'll need to be hands-on in the bid writing itself and act as the central point of contact for all proposal activity within the business.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the entire bidding process, from opportunity qualification to final submission
Write and develop high-quality content for tender responses, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities
Liaise with internal teams across sales, production, finance, and design to gather relevant information for proposals
Coordinate timelines, manage submission schedules, and ensure compliance with bid specifications
Build and maintain a library of reusable bid content and case studies
Conduct post-bid reviews to assess strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement
Support the wider commercial team with ad hoc proposal material or RFI responses when needed
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a Bid Manager or Proposal Writer role, ideally within a related industry (print, packaging, manufacturing, or B2B services)
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working cross-functionally and engaging with senior stakeholders
Commercially astute, with an understanding of pricing models, margins, and client value propositions
Proficiency with MS Office is essential; experience with bid platforms, InDesign, or CRM systems would be a bonus
