We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (PMLD) to join a supportive school in Bristol on a long-term basis. This role is ideal for someone experienced in behaviour management and passionate about creating a positive, inclusive learning environment for students with profound and multiple learning disabilities.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant (PMLD), you will:

Support teachers in delivering tailored lessons and activities to meet individual learning needs.
Assist with personal care, including feeding, toileting, and mobility.
Use specialist equipment and techniques such as sensory tools and assistive technology.
Monitor and record student progress and well-being to inform teachers and caregivers.
Promote independence and participation in a safe, inclusive setting.
Work closely with therapists, teachers, and families to provide holistic support.What We're Looking For

Previous experience supporting students with PMLD is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
