Quick Staff UK is pleased to be seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in the Ebbw Vale area. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in driving quality improvements and supporting both customer satisfaction and internal process excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out internal audits and evaluate the effectiveness of Quality Management Systems (QMS)

* Support UK and international customers with quality-related concerns

* Deliver training to enhance staff understanding of quality standards

* Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. SMED, scrap reduction, PPM)

* Assist with APQP activities and oversee calibration processes

* Monitor production data to improve OEE and ensure KPI performance

* Maintain strong communication with suppliers and certification bodies

Key Requirements:

* Solid knowledge of ISO9001:2015 and TS16949:2016 (internal auditing experience preferred)

* Proficient in PFMEA, control plans, 5S, Lean, and other core quality tools

* Strong background in engineering and ideally the automotive sector

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

* Confident with Microsoft Excel and Word

* Reliable, self-motivated, and a strong team player
