We are seeking passionate and skilled social workers with at least two years’ post-qualification experience to manage complex cases and provide guidance to less experienced team members. About the Role As a Social Worker within our Family Support Services, you will:

Manage a complex caseload involving high levels of risk, uncertainty and challenge.
Mentor and support the development of newly qualified and less experienced Social Workers.
Work within statutory frameworks and Bedford Borough Council’s policies and procedures.
Engage directly with children, young people and their families to assess needs, plan interventions and deliver targeted support.
Model best practice in line with the vision and aims of our service.What We’re Looking For
A qualified Social Worker with a minimum of two years’ experience in a statutory social work role.
Direct experience working with children and families in CIN, CP, PLO and court proceedings.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory guidance.
A collaborative, reflective, and resilient approach to complex work.
A commitment to supportive team working and continuous professional development.What We Offer
