An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a prestige franchise-approved car dealership located in Newport.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

The pay scale on offer is between £24-36,000, starting basic salary pending franchise qualifications.
In addition to the basic wage, you have access to an uncapped bonus scheme worth circa £3,600 per annum. 
All overtime, including the contracted Saturday morning on a rota, is paid at time and a half.

Opportunity to join a prestige dealership recently acquired by a Welsh family-run car dealer group.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am-1:00pm, paid as overtime.Duties of the Vehicle Technician include but are not limited to:

Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
MOT Testing
Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standardsRequirements of the Vehicle Technician:

A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence

Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
Your own Vehicle Technician toolsThe salary of this role is up to £36,000 basic with OTE of £39,600.
Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am-1:00pm paid as overtime.
