We are looking for an experience e Welder Fabricator to join a great team based in Leicester, LE7.

You will be MIG and TIG welding sheet metal components and fabricating sheet metal using hand tools, working on thin gauge metals and working off engineering drawings. You will also be finishing, fettling and grinding your own work.

We are looking for someone with specific welding process experience, such as  TIG, MIG and ARC, and be skilled in sheet metal fabrication.

Additional this company has just invested in a robot welder, so experience with this would be advantageous.
This is a temp to perm opportunity.
 
Days/Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 14:00pm – 22:00pm
 
The Role:

TIG & MIG welding of precision sheet metal components.
Fabricating sheet metal using hand tools.
Working on gauge metals.
Working with engineering drawings.
Finishing, fettling, and grinding of own work. 
About you:

Knowledge of specific welding processes, such as TIG, MIG and ARC.
Skilled in sheet metal fabrication.
Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment.
Good basic maths skills with a mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read drawings and recognise welding symbols and specifications.
Knowledge of industry safety practices 
Once you have completed a 12 week qualifying period Nand if attendance and performance meet requirements you will be offered a permanent contract!
