Paediatric Head of Nursing – North Region (Complex Care)
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum + Mileage (45p/mile)
Hours: Monday – Friday | 9 am – 5 pm | Remote with Regional Travel
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time
Locations Covered: Rochdale, Stockton-on-Tees, Telford, Nottingham

This exciting Paediatric Head of Nursing role offers the chance to shape clinical excellence, influence best practice, and make a genuine impact on the lives of adults and children with complex health needs. You’ll work remotely with regional travel, supporting multiple services and empowering clinical teams to deliver safe, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strong clinical leadership and direction to regional nurses and care staff.
Oversee the safe delivery and governance of complex paediatric and adult care packages.
Conduct clinical audits, assessments, and service reviews to ensure CQC compliance.
Deliver staff supervision, competency assessments, and ongoing clinical training.
Support new care package mobilisation and contribute to service development.
Collaborate with commissioners, ICBs, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care.

Package & Benefits
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Mileage reimbursed at 45p per mile
Hybrid / flexible Monday–Friday working

Requirements
Registered Nurse (Paediatric or Adult) with valid NMC registration – essential
Previous experience in a senior leadership role within complex care or community services
Strong understanding of clinical governance, auditing, and CQC compliance
Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regionally
