About the Role:

We are urgently seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join the team in Slough, supporting compliance across a variety of social housing planned works and maintenance projects. This is an interim role with strong potential to transition into a permanent position.

You’ll be joining a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment, ensuring all regulatory and safety standards are met while maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and client-specific requirements across social housing projects

Monitor and manage compliance within planned maintenance, responsive repairs, and retrofit programmes

*

Lead on internal audits, inspections, and quality assurance across multiple workstreams

*

Collaborate with delivery teams, subcontractors, and client representatives

*

Provide guidance and support on regulatory requirements and best practices

*

Maintain accurate compliance records and produce detailed reports for senior management

*

Identify risks, escalate issues promptly, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements:

*

Proven compliance management experience within construction or property maintenance, ideally in the social housing sector

*

Working knowledge of UK housing regulations, health & safety standards, and retrofit compliance.

*

Strong communication and organisational skills

*

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

*

Immediate availability or short notice preferred
