We are seeking a talented Controls Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of control systems for our manufacturing processes. This role will involve working with cutting-edge technologies such as Beckhoff or Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC systems, as well as utilising IEC (phone number removed) programming languages like Structured Text and Sequential Function Chart (SFC).
Key Responsibilities:

Design and program PLC-based control systems using Beckhoff or Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms.
Develop and implement control strategies to optimise manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.
Create and maintain PLC code using IEC (phone number removed) programming languages, including Structured Text and Sequential Function Chart (SFC).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with existing equipment and processes.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure reliability and performance.
Support commissioning and start-up activities for new installations and system upgrades.
Provide technical expertise and support for continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in PLC programming with Beckhoff or Allen-Bradley and Siemens systems.
Proficiency in IEC (phone number removed) programming languages, especially Structured Text and Sequential Function Chart (SFC).
Familiarity with industrial automation systems and control theory.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial automation is preferred.
