With the increased success of this family run bakery in Nottingham they are looking to increase the engineering team and are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to work on a permanent night shift.  

The role demands a candidate with a blend of electrical and mechanical skills, capable of maintaining and enhancing a range of bakery equipment. A proactive problem-solver, you will be instrumental in minimising production downtime by performing PPM's during the night shift when production is at its lowest. Your responsibilities will include routine maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and contributing to projects that optimise productivity.

You will have the opportunity to be involved with continuous improvement with your opinion being valued while working alongside the engineering supervisor for a company that holds all of its employees at the heart of its business. 

The role of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

Reactive & planned maintenance
Updating & introduction of stores, spares etc.
Looking after bakery assets & Facilities
Working as part of a small team
Shift hand over & liaising with production staff Qualifications & skills required to become a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

Minimum of a level 3 NVQ, BTEC City & Guilds equivalent 
Mechanical or Electrical bias – If Mechanical you must be electrically competent.
3 years hands on maintenance experience ideally within a food environment.
Be based in the UK with the relevant right to work documents. Benefits for this Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer includes:

Monday-Thursday 8pm - 4am
£46,000
1:4 Saturday Cover (6am-12pm)
22 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Working within a well-established team
