About the Role
As an Accounts and Outsourcing Senior, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, including individuals and owner-managed businesses. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounts and tax services while supporting the wider team and developing strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring all compliance work is completed to a high standard
Preparing accounts for companies, partnerships, LLPs, and sole traders
Preparing corporation tax, partnership, and personal tax returns and computations
Reviewing VAT returns and advising clients where necessary
Using cloud-based accounting software to deliver efficient and accurate reporting
Supporting the team by planning workloads, reviewing junior staff output, and mentoring assistants
Acting as a key contact for clients, maintaining strong communication and service standards
Assisting in business development activities, networking, and identifying opportunities for cross-service collaboration
Requirements
We are looking for a motivated and client-focused professional with a strong background in accountancy and outsourcing.
You will ideally have:
ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working within an accountancy practice
Strong knowledge of cloud accounting systems (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive approach to client service and process improvement
A desire to progress within a values-led, sustainability-conscious organisation
