Are you ready to lead the way in the high-end, luxury residential construction market? Our ever-growing, impressive client is seeking a diligent and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.
  
The Opportunity: 
  
As QS/SQS, you will play a pivotal role in preparing estimates and costs of the work to be completed. You will also play an important part in managing the contractual relationships of the members of the project team.

A key component in Costs, Management and Procurement for prestigious projects, setting the benchmark for excellence in the Luxury & High-end Residential sector. This permanent position offers a competitive salary depending on experience, based of the Surrey office. 

As a competent Quantity Surveyor, you will have experience running 1-2 projects, reporting to a Commercial Manager/Lead QS. Ideally, you will be suitably qualified (degree/HNC), with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar level role.
 
Key Responsibilities: 

Procurement of subcontract packages and large material orders. This will be done in a timely and competent manner, with a procurement schedule and regular updates issued to the management team.
Management of subcontract packages throughout the project lifecycle, including agreeing variations, certifying payments, issuing of contract information/correspondence, and settling final accounts.
Produce monthly CVR reports and liability assessments to ensure that project cashflow is controlled and margins are maximized in advance to assist the accounts department with payments.
Produce monthly accurate client valuations.
Manage client account, ensuring variations are priced and covered upstream & downstream. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a Surveyor with high aspirations to grow with a supportive and reputable high-end/ luxury contractor.
