Our client, a prominent consultancy within the water sector, is currently seeking a Hydraulic Network Modeller to join their team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilising Infoworks ICM models to assess system performance and identify effective solutions to resolve identified deficiencies.
Assessing hydraulic models of urban drainage networks (foul and surface water systems) using Infoworks ICM.
Conducting capacity assessments with Infoworks ICM models.
Identifying and developing solutions for urban drainage issues using Infoworks ICM.
Undertaking hydraulic checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, client specifications, and UK best practice.
Collaborating with internal and client design teams to develop capital schemes.
Preparing technical reports.
Supervising, supporting, and developing junior modelling staff.

Job Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Practical knowledge and understanding of InfoWorks ICM.
Experience working for a UK Water Company.
Experience in modelling and designing engineering schemes.
Proficiency in using GIS software (ARCGIS, MapInfo, or QGIS).
Competency in MS Word and Excel.
