Mechanical Maintenance Technician – Field-Based

Location: Covering the Gloucestershire/Bristol/Wiltshire area

Salary: £26,000 – £33,000 (depending on experience) + Guaranteed Bonus (£6,000 – £8,500)

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a mechanically-minded maintenance technician to join our expanding field team. Whether you’re hands-on with machinery, experienced in mechanical maintenance, or currently in a workshop role and ready to step into the field, this role offers a genuine route into service engineering with full professional training.

What You’ll Be Doing

Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on CNC machinery at customer sites

Delivering high levels of customer service while identifying and resolving technical issues

Managing your own workload across the region, travelling to different client locations

Looking after the tools, equipment, and vehicle provided to you

What We’re Looking For

Experience with mechanical systems or machine operation (field service experience is a bonus)

Solid fault-finding and problem-solving skills

A proactive, self-sufficient approach to your work

Full UK driving licence

Comfortable with travel and working independently in the field
