Are you passionate about working with young children and supporting their early development? We are currently recruiting Nursery Assistants to work in friendly and welcoming nursery settings across Cambridge and surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for caring, enthusiastic individuals looking to begin or develop a career in early years education. Previous nursery or childcare experience is preferred but not essential, as training and support will be provided.
? About the Role:
As a Nursery Assistant, you will support children aged 0-5, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting children with play, learning, and daily routines
Assisting with planned activities that promote early development
Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment
Encouraging positive behaviour and social development
Working closely with nursery staff as part of a supportive team
? About You:
A genuine interest in working with young children
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and follow nursery procedures
Previous childcare or nursery experience is preferred but not essential
Early Years qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3) are desirable but not required
