Sales Engineer. Industrial Flooring (Insitu Resin)

Location: East of England
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 basic + Quarterly Bonus + Annual Bonus + Company Car + Benefits
Job Type: Full-time. Permanent. Field-based.

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist contractor and manufacturer of industrial flooring and surfacing systems. The business delivers high-performance resin flooring solutions into commercial and industrial environments and continues to grow across the East of England.

This role suits a technically minded Sales Engineer who enjoys site visits, managing projects, and building long-term client relationships.

The Role

Manage and grow an existing customer base across a defined territory

Develop new business opportunities with contractors and end users

Carry out site surveys and assess project requirements

Produce and follow up technical quotations and proposals

Attend project meetings and liaise with internal teams

Support project planning, RAMS, and installation handovers

Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasts, and pipeline data

Represent the company at industry events when required

Essential Requirements

Minimum 5 years' experience in technical sales or sales engineering

Proven ability to generate new business and manage key accounts

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to interpret technical requirements and propose solutions

Full UK driving licence

Must have experience selling or working with flooring systems, resin coatings, cladding, decking, or prefabricated construction materials

Desirable

Background in construction, civil engineering, or a related technical field

Experience selling into contractors, facilities managers, or industrial clients

Competitive basic salary. £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience

Field-based role covering the East of England.
