Skilled Assembly Technician

Location: Hull - PERMANENT POSITION

Salary: £14.50 per hour

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30, Friday: 07:00 - 13:00

Are you a skilled and detail-oriented individual with a passion for assembling mechanical and electrical components? Summit Selection are partnering with a leading engineering company in Hull who are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

* Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

* Ensure the quality and precision of assembled products through thorough inspection and testing procedures.

* Collaborate with team members to optimise assembly processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

* Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

* Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.

Requirements:

* BTEC, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in a mechanical/electrical related subject is preferred.

* Alternatively, a minimum of 2 years' practical experience in a similar assembly role will be considered.

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical drawings and instructions.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

* Knowledge of health and safety protocols in an industrial setting.

* Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
