HLTA / PPA Cover Opportunities – Hindley & Orrell (Wigan)
September 2025 Start | £100–£130 per day | £100 bonus available
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with two welcoming primary schools in Wigan – one in Hindley and one in Orrell – to recruit for two full-time HLTA/PPA Cover roles starting in September 2025.
These roles are ideal for confident and adaptable educators who can support across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering small group interventions in the mornings and PPA class cover in the afternoons.
The Roles:
Full-time positions: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm.
Pay: £90–£115 per day (paid weekly via PAYE – no umbrella or admin fees)
Start Date: September 2025.
Location: Hindley (WN2) and Orrell (WN5), Wigan.
School Type: Church of England and Community Primary settings.
Contract: Full academic year with potential for permanent opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
HLTA qualification or significant experience in classroom cover.
Comfortable working with different year groups and pupil needs.
Strong behaviour management and confident classroom presence.
Experience delivering interventions for English and Maths is desirable.
A professional, flexible, and proactive approach to support learning.
