Workshop Supervisor – PSV Garage

We are looking for a highly organised and experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our PSV garage in Bolton. This is a non-hands-on, office-based position, offering an excellent salary of £45,000 and the opportunity to take a leading role in the day-to-day running of a busy commercial workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate all workshop operations from an office-based role
Oversee job planning, scheduling, and technician allocation
Monitor workshop efficiency, job turnaround times, and quality standards
Liaise with engineers, operations teams, and management to ensure vehicle availability
Ensure compliance with DVSA regulations, service documentation, and maintenance schedules
Conduct performance reviews and support staff development
Handle parts ordering, warranty claims, and supplier coordination as neededRequirements:

Previous experience in a PSV, HGV, or commercial vehicle workshop environment
Strong understanding of maintenance planning, vehicle compliance, and workshop KPIs
Experience in a supervisory, foreman, or workshop controller role
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Good working knowledge of industry software systems (e.g., R2C, AssetWorks, etc.) is advantageous
Relevant technical qualifications are beneficial but not essential for this office-based roleWhat We Offer:
