Product Quality Assurance Manager

We're looking for an experienced Product Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality and food safety across a fast-paced fresh produce operation.

This is a hands-on role with real influence, responsible for ensuring products meet all legal, customer and certification standards from production through to customer delivery.

Salary to £45k

The role

Own site product quality, food safety and integrity

Ensure compliance with BRCGS v9, GlobalG.A.P, Red Tractor and customer specifications

Deliver Quality Service Level (QSL) targets

Lead and develop QA and Label Room teams

Investigate complaints, rejections and non-conformances

Drive a strong "right first time" quality culture

Support audits, customer visits and continuous improvement

About you

Experience in a quality role within fresh produce or food manufacturing

HACCP and Food Safety Level 2 (Level 3 desirable)

Strong communicator with the confidence to stand up for quality

Analytical, organised and comfortable in a fast-moving environment

Team leadership experience preferred
