Teach Now is thrilled to be recruiting for a part-time KS1 teacher to join a thriving, community-focused primary school in Barking & Dagenham starting in September 2025. About the role
As a KS1 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching to a mixed-ability class, planning creative lessons that cater to different learning styles, and maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement. You’ll work collaboratively with experienced staff and receive support from a dedicated teaching assistant in the classroom.
What we’re looking for
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – ECTs and experienced teachers welcome
• Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school (preferably in KS1)
• A nurturing, enthusiastic approach to education
• Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
• A commitment to inclusion and helping every child thrive
