Are you passionate about supporting families living with dementia? Would you like to work in a dynamic team of Admiral Nurses? If so, we are offering experienced dementia nurses the opportunity to develop practice within a community setting and to build upon experience of working in a specialist field. The successful applicant will work within our established Admiral Nurse Service across Newcastle and North Tyneside areas.
The position will provide specialist nursing assessment, evidenced based intervention, advice and support for those families and carers living with dementia. The Admiral Nurse Service can support families at any stage of their dementia journey.
The successful applicant will hold a registered nursing qualification with appropriate post registration experience in mental health care and dementia. Clinical experience of working with people with dementia and their carers in different settings is desirable.
You will be supported by @Dementia UK through regular Clinical Supervision and Continuing Professional and Practice Development to maintain excellent standards and specialist skills in dementia care.
