SEN Teaching Assistant - Bedford

January Start | Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive mainstream school in Bedford who are looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant from January. This is a full-time role which will be through the agency initially.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH or learning difficulties, within a nurturing school environment.

? The Role:

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis

Assisting with behavioural, emotional and learning needs

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

Helping pupils engage with learning and reach their full potential

? The Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or other relevant settings)

A patient, resilient and caring approach

A genuine passion for making a difference

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
