The Senior Project Manager's role
The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of key projects across commercial, residential, and public sector developments. From inception through to completion, you will lead client-facing engagements, manage internal teams and external consultants, and ensure deliverables are achieved to the highest quality, on time and within budget.
You will be supported by a team of project managers and assistants, with access to continuous professional development and exposure to a wide range of project values and complexities.
Day-to-day responsibilities for the Senior Project Manager will include:
Acting as the main client liaison throughout the project lifecycle
Preparing and managing project programmes, scopes, and risk registers
Overseeing procurement, tender processes, and contract administration
Monitoring construction delivery and ensuring compliance with specifications
Mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development efforts
The Senior Project Manager
Ideally, the successful Senior Project Manager will have:
A degree in a construction-related discipline (e.g. Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying)
Chartered status or progress towards (RICS, APM, CIOB or equivalent)
A proven track record of delivering built environment projects within a consultancy setting
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A team-oriented mindset and a proactive, detail-driven approach
