Salary: £15.90 to £17.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

About the Role:

O'Neill and Brennan are currently seeking a reliable and hard working Bricklayer’s Labourer to join our client’s team on a busy construction site in Taunton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous site experience who is looking to secure regular work with a well-established contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting bricklayers with daily tasks including mortar mixing and material preparation
Loading and unloading materials such as bricks, blocks, and cement
Moving materials across site using wheelbarrows or manual handling equipment
Setting up work areas and assisting with scaffolding set-up if required
Keeping the worksite clean and tidy, ensuring safe working conditions
Cutting bricks or blocks to size using appropriate tools (under supervision)
Following site health & safety procedures and reporting any issues to the site supervisor

Requirements:

Previous experience as a bricklayer's labourer
A valid CSCS card is essential
Physically fit and capable of manual labour in all weather conditions
Hardworking, punctual, and dependable
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Own PPE (hard hat, boots, high-vis vest)
