Social Worker - St Albans Family Safeguarding Team ?‍??‍?

Location: Apsley, Hemel Hempstead ?
Pay: LTD/UMBRELLA £37/hr ?
Hybrid: 3 days in office per week ?️?

Main Duties & Responsibilities ?

Work within Hertfordshire County Council's Family Safeguarding Team West.
Provide support for children and families, using the "Family Safeguarding" approach ?‍?‍?‍?.
Collaborate with multi-agencies to achieve the best outcomes ?.
Manage caseloads of under 20 children per Social Worker.
Conduct assessments, care planning, reviews, and deliver welfare reports to conferences and court hearings ⚖️.
Participate in training, including motivational interviewing ?.
Receive regular supervision based on case risk.
Use iPads and work from various county "Touchdown" locations ?.
Free on-site parking available ?.

Person Specification ⭐

Qualified and Social Work England registered ?
Minimum 1 year post-ASYE experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills ✍️?️
Knowledge of legislation, guidance, policy, and procedures ?
Proficient in Microsoft Office ?
Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle ?What happens now?
