Extrusion Operator

Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting an experienced Extrusion Operator to join our well established client. 

Job Duties: 

Operate the extrusion and pelletising lines in accordance with company procedures and quality standards. 

Load raw material into the extrusion machine and remove finished product. 

Set, adjust, start up, and shut down extrusion equipment. 

Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning. 

Monitor extruder runtime and production output (kg of PP pellets per shift). 

Complete production checklists and defect reports. 

Identify and record non-conformances, defects, or production issues. 

Support continuous improvement efforts and assist in performance enhancements. 

Requirements: 

Extrusion machine operation experience. 

Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment. 

Positive and proactive attitude. 

Commitment to Health & Safety best practices. 

Willingness to adapt to varying responsibilities as the company evolves. 

Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 Per Annum. 

Working hours: 3:30pm - 11:30pm Monday to Friday.
