Job Title: Coded Welder Fabricator

Core Duties

* Mig coded welding

* Fabrication, cutting, bending materials

* To follow the issued manufacturing schedule as issued and agreed.

* To ensure that he has the necessary resources, tools, consumables, etc., available to completethe jobs issued by the deadline agreed.

* Liaise with the workshop managerED To continue to nurture and train the younger more inexperienced members of the team byshowing them new techniques and encouraging and promoting learning on the job.

* Demonstrates energy and a positive attitude

* To assist in keeping safe routes unobstructed and making sure that materials are stored in theappropriate areas safely

* Assist in managing goods inwards and help to keep it organised by liaising with the productionsupervisor to assign adequate resources and space.ED Assist the workshop supervisor to manage and protect the workshop tools and the Company'sproperty•Look out for ways to protect the interests of the Company and make suggestions to improveconditions and processes.

* Be present during the workshop supervisor's discussions to set daily / weekly / monthlyobjectives for the workshop and assist in the workshop teams in achieving them.

* Assist the workshop supervisor to organise workflowED

* To follow strict safety guidelines and company standards

* Engage in CPD (Continuous Professional Development) in those areas that are identified askey to the company. This may be in the shape of training courses, toolbox talks and ongoingvocational training.

Job Description

The Coded Welder Fabricator is assigned to assist the workshop manager with the welding and fabrication tasks. He will ensure that his skills are kept updated by periodic assessment from a competent body, and/or by the Responsible Welding Coordinator assessing his day to day work. All this must be done in accordance to the schedules issued by the project managers. The coded welder must pay attention to detail and be able to produce high quality work consistently. It is essential that he can read technical drawings and have adequate communication skills.

Main roles and responsibilities (included but not limited to)

As above Hours of Work7am - 5pm Mon to Fri Weekends may be required

Paid Monthly into Bank Account 1st of Month
