This is an outstanding opportunity to join my client, a highly-respected, well-established multidisciplinary consultancy, renowned for lending their specialist design services to a diverse range of projects across the civil engineering, planning, and landscape architecture fields. My client is on the lookout for a motivated, experienced Senior Civil Engineer, capable of leading a growing team across a number of residential, commercial, and retail projects, based in the beautiful, northern city of York.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:

Work on a diverse range of public and private sector projects, including for Local Authorities
Complete Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies, also assisting colleagues in doing so
Producing Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), Access Roads, Road Alignment, Highways, and Site Design, utilising the appropriate software packages (including AutoCAD and Civils 3D)
Leading high-profile projects at all stages, from initial inception through to successful delivery
Forging, maintaining, and managing client relations across the public and private sectors
Liaising with clients to ascertain project budgets and realistic timescales
Representing the company at design team meetings and site visits

Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:

Hold a Bachelor's or Master's Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering (or similar, relevant field)
Be a Chartered Civil Engineer, or actively working to attain Chartership Status
Extensive relevant experience within a consultancy setting
Demonstrable experience in completing Site Design, Drainage Strategies, and Road Alignment for Planning Applications
Strong competencies in the relevant software packages, to include InfoDrainage and Civils 3D

Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:

Live near to York, being familiar with the region
Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
