We are seeking an experienced Highways Electrician to join our team delivering electrical installation,across the highway network. The role involves working on street lighting, and associated highway electrical systems to ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to current standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Install, maintain, and repair street lighting, illuminated signs, and highway electrical equipment.

* Carry out testing, inspection, and fault finding on electrical systems.

* Work on both planned and reactive maintenance projects.

* Ensure all works comply with BS7671, DNO regulations, and Health & Safety requirements.

* Complete all relevant documentation and test certificates accurately.

* Work collaboratively with civils, traffic management, and other site teams.

Essential Experience:

* Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation/Maintenance

* Strong understanding of BS 7671, Electricity at Work Regulations, and permit-to-work systems.

* Full UK driving licence.

* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).

* ECS / CSCS card.

* Experience working on highways electrical systems (street lighting, traffic signals, etc.).

* HERS Registration / G39 Certification.

* IPAF / MEWP training
