Role Overview – Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading aerospace and automotive manufacturer, for a skilled and proactive Electrically Biased Maintenance Technician to join their expanding in-house maintenance team. This role would require you to work on a rotating shift pattern.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced maintenance technician to work with advanced machinery and technology in a high-performance manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for servicing and repairing equipment used in the production of precision-engineered components and assemblies for aerospace and automotive clients.

Key Responsibilities – Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Service and repair plant machinery and production equipment
Perform general site maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operations
Respond promptly to breakdowns and carry out timely repairs
Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance across the facility
Work independently or as part of a multi-skilled engineering team
Maintain and repair equipment with industrial drives and control systems (CNC/PLC)
Experience with robotic and laser equipment is beneficial
Key Qualifications & Experience – Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Qualification equivalent to BTEC/NVQ Level 3/HNC/HND
A proactive approach to efficiency improvements and problem-solving
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across various work areas
Flexible and adaptable, with a hands-on approach
