Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll lead a small team and be trusted to run the monthly reporting cycle, strengthen controls, and provide the analysis that supports commercial decisions.

What you'll be doing

Leading the finance team across purchase ledger, credit control, payroll and an assistant management accountant

Owning the month-end timetable and finalising the management accounts pack

Producing clear variance analysis and reporting by business unit

Keeping the balance sheet tight: reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and daily bank control

Overseeing debtors and creditors and supporting cashflow visibility

Supporting budgets, forecasts and KPI reporting

Managing VAT returns and leading the annual audit with external advisers

Supporting Irish entity reporting and group consolidation oversight

Improving processes, tightening controls and driving finance projects

What they're looking for

Ideally fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

Strong Excel and a confident analytical mindset

Comfortable leading a small team and owning deadlines

Clear communicator who can challenge constructively and improve processes

Desirable: multi-site/retail experience and exposure to group reporting/consolidation
