We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a major Earthworks and Highways package based in Sheffield. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of a high-profile infrastructure project, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out for Earthworks, Drainage, and Highways works

*

Interpreting technical drawings and specifications

*

Monitoring subcontractors and ensuring compliance with design and quality standards

*

Carrying out site inspections and maintaining accurate site records

*

Assisting in the preparation of as-built drawings and reports

*

Ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance on site

Requirements:

*

Proven experience in similar Site Engineering roles within Civil Engineering

*

Strong knowledge of Earthworks and Highways projects

*

Proficient in the use of surveying equipment (e.g., Leica, Trimble)

*

CSCS card

*

SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred but not essential)

*

Right to work in the UK

Contract Details:

Start: Immediate

*

Duration: 6 months (potential for extension)

*

Rate: £400 – £420 per day (LTD / CIS basis)
