Trainee Field Engineer

* Location: Cambridge, Huntingdon, Ely, Newmarket, Peterborough, Wisbech, kings Lynn, Thetford, bury St

* Hours: 8.5 hour shifts Mon-Fri, between the hours of 9am – 17:30pm

* Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 + 5% on call allowance, Overtime and Company Van

Your new role

* Working in the field environment on customer site, providing customer support ensuring Service Levels are maintained and the ticketing system is fully up to date

* Work alongside experienced engineers, learning from them through structured training programs and on-the-job experience

* Learn a range of technical skills including cabling and installation of network hardware

What you’ll need to succeed

* No experience required – just a willingness to learn with a friendly, professional and flexible attitude

* You must be able to pass security checks for this job, including SC and BPSS clearance

* Full UK Driving License and your own personal car is essential for this position

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
