Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking to make an impact in a rewarding environment? A respected healthcare organisation is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer in Dorset to support essential engineering operations across multiple sites.

The Role

As the Mechanical Engineer, you will:

Carry out repairs to mechanical engineering equipment and undertake planned preventative maintenance.
Work on AHUs, calorifiers, and water systems, ensuring compliance with all mechanical engineering regulations.
Participate in a mechanical on-call rota and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve urgent issues.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and escalate additional mechanical maintenance requests as required.
Trace pipework systems and isolate valves to ensure effective repairs and system performance. You

To succeed in this Mechanical Engineer role, you’ll need:

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems within complex facilities.
A City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in Electrical Building Services Maintenance or equivalent mechanical engineering certification.
Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and repair within building engineering services.
Strong mechanical fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently.
A full UK driving licence and flexibility to support the on-call rota. What’s in it for you?
