A welcoming small Catholic primary school in Darwen (BB3) is seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant / Nursery Practitioner to join their EYFS team from January 2026.

You will support children aged birth to 5 years, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment within a values-led Catholic school.

Key Responsibilities

Support EYFS learning through play-based and structured activities

Assist with personal care where required

Promote children's social, emotional, and communication development

Maintain a safe and welcoming classroom environment

Follow safeguarding procedures at all times

The Ideal Candidate

Passionate about working with Early Years / EYFS children

Caring, patient, and reliable

Willing to learn and develop EYFS knowledge

Experience or qualifications desirable but not essential
