Commissioning Home Manager - NEW SERVICE
Location: Wantage, Oxford (OX12)
Salary: £78,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits
Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm

Time Recruitment are selecting a Commissioning Home Manager on behalf of our large award-winning client who have over 150 care homes across the UK; specialising in primary care and elderly care; recently having been finalists at the great British care awards alongside winning 3 awards at the Berkshire Care Awards recently!

The Commissioning Home Manager is required for a luxury service in the pleasant area of Wantage; the service has 72 beds in total but naturally needs a specialist manager to help improve the occupancy of the home; the service will specialise in residential and dementia residential care with some respite care also.

The home boasts on site cinema, coffee shop, hair salon, and stunning grounds and boasts a good CQC report, the home also was a finalist at the care home catering awards alongside being the stars of social care awards finalist and the dementia care awards finalist!

You will be working alongside a longstanding and experienced Regional Manager in commissioning the home ensuring occupancy increases, we hire the right staff for the service alongside budget management, profit and loss management, staff management and working with the customer relations team assisting with sales and marketing.

As the Commissioning Home Manager you will be the face of this luxury service due to open in Sept 2024 you will be embedded in the service before it opens and will receive support from the sister service in the area.

Who we are looking for the Commissioning Home Manager role:

* Proven track record in home management
* Leadership experience ideally in a care home setting ideally 2-3 years
* Understanding of increasing occupancy/sales and marketing
