Freelance Project Manager – Hospital Fit Out
Client: Tier 2 Main Contractor
Project: £7m Hospital Fit-Out (Live Environment)
Location: Eastbourne
Rate: £300 – £340 per shift (CIS or LTD)
The Role We are seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager to take the lead on a £7m hospital fit-out project in Eastbourne. This is a 67-week scheme in a live hospital environment, requiring strong leadership, organisational, and client-facing skills.
You will be responsible for overseeing the project with support from a site-based Site Manager and a visiting Contracts Manager. The role will start ahead of the onsite commencement at the end of November.
Key Requirements
✅ Previous hospital fit-out experience on projects of similar value (£5m+)
✅ SMSTS, CSCS (Black/White Card), and First Aid certification
✅ Strong track record managing subcontractors across multiple packages
✅ Excellent communication and client-facing ability
✅ Based within commutable distance (ideally within 1 hour of Eastbourne)
