We are seeking an experienced and confident Building Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a high-profile, multi-tenanted commercial building in Manchester.

This is a hands-on role requiring a robust, resilient professional who is comfortable working under pressure and capable of handling occasionally challenging conversations with occupiers, contractors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

* Overall operational management of a 90,000 sq ft multi-tenanted commercial building

* Act as the primary point of contact for occupiers, delivering a high standard of customer service

* Manage and coordinate third-party contractors, ensuring service delivery, compliance, and value

* Oversee all Health & Safety matters, ensuring statutory and best-practice compliance

* Carry out regular building inspections and manage remedial actions

* Line manage one Front of House team member, with responsibility for their performance, development, and progression

* Work closely with the on-site café operator to ensure a positive occupier experience

* Maintain strong relationships with occupiers and proactively manage issues and expectations

About You

* Proven experience managing a similar commercial or multi-tenanted building

* Robust and resilient, with the confidence to manage difficult or sensitive conversations professionally

* An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills

* Experienced in third-party contractor management

* Solid Health & Safety knowledge; IOSH qualification desirable

* Comfortable working under pressure in a customer-facing environment

* Evidence of successfully managing and engaging with demanding customers or occupiers

* People management experience, with a desire to develop and support team members
