We’re working with a leading engineering business looking to appoint a Senior Engineer into their product development team in Glenrothes.

This is a hands-on R&D role where you’ll take ownership of product development projects from concept through to production. You’ll work closely with global teams to design, develop, test, and introduce new technologies that align with evolving customer and industry requirements.

You’ll also play a key role in shaping future product roadmaps, validating designs through analysis and testing, and driving continuous improvement within a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

What you’ll be doing:

* Leading new product development projects through structured phase-gate processes

* Working across engineering, product management and testing functions

* Producing technical documentation and presenting to technical and non-technical audiences

* Driving problem-solving initiatives and supporting cost-reduction efforts

* Collaborating with global teams and participating in industry standard committees

What you’ll bring:

* Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

* Proven experience in designing, testing and implementing new technologies

* Skilled in using electrical test equipment and analysis tools

* Clear communicator with the ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams
